Agnes L. Reichenberger, 81, Manfred, North Dakota passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Chaseley United Methodist Church.  Rev. Warren Rhodes will officiate and burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Cathay, North Dakota.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, North Dakota.

Agnes LaVon Fuhrman was born July 23, 1941, south of Fessenden, North Dakota, the daughter of Ben and Evelyn (Shirley) Fuhrman.  She grew up on the family farm and attended country school near there.  She married Alan Reichenberger on July 27, 1959 in Fessenden, North Dakota.  She had several different jobs in the Fessenden area including working at the grocery store and the café.  They moved to a farm south of Manfred, North Dakota where they milked cows and grain farming.

Agnes was a member of the Chaseley United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, bingo, listening to old time country music, playing cards, and going to the casino.  She was also a very good cook.

Agnes is survived by her husband Alan, children, Elaine (Jimmy) Carter, Dickinson, Brett (Barbara) Reichenberger, Fairmount, GA, and Ross (Colleen) Reichenberger, Waconia, MN; also 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Hager, and two step-brothers, Clifford and Elmer Knoll.
