Agnes D. Wagner, 85, Bismarck, formerly of Harvey and rural Manfred, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Missouri Slope Care Center in Bismarck. Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at the First Lutheran Church in Harvey with burial in the Vang Cemetery in Manfred. Arrangements with Nelson Funeral Home of Fessenden.
Agnes Goldade, daughter of Anton and Rose (Keller) Goldade was born November 1, 1932 at rural Selz. She was raised and educated in the Selz area.
On October 23, 1950, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Wagner at Fessenden. They made their home south of Manfred where they farmed until 1966. In addition to raising her 7 children and helping on the farm, Agnes worked as a substitute clerk at the Manfred Post Office and worked part time at the Harvey Eagles Club and the V.F.W. Club in Harvey.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy (Ivan) Gandrud and Cindy Weekes of Bismarck, and Myrna (Tom) Marchand of Harvey; two sons, Lawrence of Harvey and Brian of Carrington; 9 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Valentine (Marlene) Goldade of Harvey and Daniel (Barbara) Goldade of Bismarck.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence who passed away March 2, 2007; 2 sons, Rodney and Clyde; her parents; sisters, Mary, Johanna, Rose and Christine; and brothers, Peter, Tony, John, Joe and Clifford.
