Aimee` Pister, 59, of rural Kief, passed away of natural causes at her home near Kief on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
Aimee` Denise Parson, daughter of Thomas and Lori (Schmidt) Parson, was born July 11, 1957 at Lincoln, NE. Aimee` and her family lived in a number of different communities throughout the United States where her father was stationed in the military, including Cheyenne, WY and Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from high school in Grand Forks and attended Williston State College where she studied interior designing.
On November 22, 1978 she was married to John Pister . They made their home on the Pister farm south of Kief where Aimee` took part in the farming and dairy operation. She also worked for a time at Walmart and Royal Fork in Minot and as a school bus driver for the Butte School District.
Aimee` loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their basketball games, dance recitals and gymnastic events. She also loved the farm and enjoyed all the farm animals which included horses, dogs and cats.
She is survived by her husband, John; 3 children, Franklin 'J.T.' (Sara Helm) Pister of rural Kief , Laurel (Kevin Brown) Pister of Velva and Caleb (Ashley) Pister of Karlsruhe; 5 grandchildren, Riley, Emma, Morghan, Lilah and Gracie; her father, Thomas Parson of Rapid City, SD; 1 brother, Tom (Melanie) Parson of Rapid City, SD; and 2 sisters, Lynn (Tom) Hahn and Yvonne Parson of Denver, CO.
Aimee` was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral: Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Butte.
Visitation: Sunday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home in Drake.
Burial: Kief Cemetery
The family prefers memorials be given to the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Butte or a charity of your choice.
