Arnold Stolt's Obituary
Arnold A. Stolt, 93, Anamoose, passed away at the Harvey Nursing Home. A private family service will be held. Arrangements with Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home of Drake.
Arnold A. Stolt, son of August and Anna (Pattis) Stolt, was born January 19, 1920 on the family farm near Anamoose where he grew up and attended a nearby country school.
On July 1, 1945 he was married to Lydia Yahnke at rural Anamoose. They made their home on a farm northeast of Drake where they continued to farm and raise cattle until their retirement. They moved to Anamoose in 2003 and in 2010 Arnold entered the Harvey Nursing Home.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Drake.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lydia; 2 daughters, Bunny (Avery) Minor of Anamoose and Holly (Bruce) Gaugler of Bismarck; 2 sons, Darrel Stolt of Karlsruhe and Michael Stolt of rural Drake; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Verner (Carol) Stolt of Drake and 1 sister, Verna (Tom) Sandstrom of Bishop, CA.
