Arthur 'Art' Reichenberger, 92, Fessenden, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey. His funeral will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden with burial at the Klara Lutheran Cemetery of rural Heimdal. There will be no viewal but friends may sign the memorial book on Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.

Art Reichenberger, son of Emil and Martha (Burzolff) Reichenberger was born December 7, 1922 in New Rockford. Art spent most of his life in the Fessenden and Cathay areas. He attended one room rural schools and graduated from Cathay High School.

He was married to Betty Ellingson on June 29, 1958 in the Klara Lutheran Church at rural Heimdal.

Art was a farmer and did carpentry work. He was an avid gardener of his vegetables and flowers, and spent many hours in the outdoors.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Fessenden.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; one daughter, Cynthia (Glenn) Ramey of Port Clinton, OH; one son, Neil (Carol) Reichenberger of Warroad, MN; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; one brother, Alan (Agnes) Reichenberger of rural Manfred; and one sister, Alice (Leonard) Wiesz of Fessenden.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Steven; his parents; one brother, Gerald and one sister, Ruth.
