Bebe Carole Brauer's Obituary
Bebe Carole Brauer, 85, New Rockford, formerly of Star Valley Ranch, WY, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements with Nelson Funeral Home of Fessenden.
Bebe Mercer, daughter of Raymond and Viola (Allert) Mercer, was born July 27, 1931 at Gonzales, TX where she was raised and educated.
She was united in marriage to Gene Brauer on October 13, 1950 at Gonzales Where they made their home. They later lived in Williston, ND, Alaska and Colorado. After their retirement, Bebe and Gene spent the next two years traveling before settling in Star Valley Ranch, WY. Following Gene's death in 2004, Bebe continued to reside at Star Valley Ranch until moving to New Rockford .
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Chris) Sellie of rural Cathay; 2 sons Kevin (Dara Syrkin) Brauer of Minneapolis, MN and Mark (Sharon) Brauer of Prior Lake, MN; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Bebe was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents; one sister, Colleen Foster and 2 brothers, Davis and Wallace Mercer.
