Beverly M. Larson, 90, of Fessenden, ND passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 24, 2026 at the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden with Pastor Shirley Teske officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Fessenden and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the Hillside Cemetery in Fessenden.

Beverly was born September 13, 1935 to August and Sophia (Roland) Hibsch in Hamberg, ND. She was raised and educated in Hamberg until 1949 when her parents moved to Waupaca, Wisconsin. Beverly graduated from Waupaca High School with the class of 1953. She moved back to Wells County upon graduation and was employed at the Wells County Court House working for Judge B.F. Whipple and later Judge Sam Krause.

Beverly was united in marriage to Duane L. Larson on September 2, 1955 at Concordia Lutheran Church in rural Fessenden. The couple welcomed their daughter Debbie in 1959. When Debbie began her schooling, Beverly returned to the court house, where she spent over thirty years as the Clerk of District Court. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Frank Proisl American Legion Auxiliary, and the Clerk of Court Association.

Beverly and Duane attended many basketball games, enjoyed camping and attending grandsons’ sports and casino trips. After Duane’s passing, Beverly still enjoyed attending sporting events and trips to the casino with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Debra (Louis) Simenson; grandchildren, Jaden (ShaLee) Huntley, Jordan Huntley, Scott (Jessica) Simenson, and Grace (J.R.) Kerzmann; 9 great grandchildren, Roan, Grey, and Kove Huntley, Camryn and Hadley Huntley, Shepherd Simenson, and Kolter, Benson and Jolie Kerzmann.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Duane; parents, August and Sophia Hibsch; brothers, Rudolph and Leo; sisters, Emma, Alma, Maytha, and Martha.
