Bonnie Beth McQuay, 65, Minot, formerly of Drake, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016, on Christmas Day, at Trinity Hospital in Minot. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 18, at the Trinity Medical Center Chapel.
Bonnie Beth McQuay, daughter of Gordon and Elaine (Eichhorn) McQuay was born October 11, 1951 at Kenmare, ND. She attended school in Kenmare through the 6th grade before moving with her family to Drake where she attended Drake Public School, graduating in 1970. She then attended Minot State College where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Education in 1975.
Bonnie was employed with Trinity Medical Center as a clerk in the Medical Records Department for many years.
Bonnie enjoyed fishing at Lake Metigoshe at her parents cabin and her occasional trips to the casino. She also loved and enjoyed her cats.
She is survived by her mother, Elaine (Jack) Cowley of Mesa, AZ; 3 sisters, Linda (Ron) Ziegler of Drake, Judy (Dennis) Blandership of Alabaster, AL and Nancy (Carl) Haugen of Carson City, NV; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and her fellow employees and staff at Trinity Medical Center.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Gordon McQuay.
