Dale E. Miller, 92, Harvey, formerly of rural Manfred, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Dale Eugene Miller, son of Alex and Mollie (Deede) Miller was born March 3, 1927 on the family farm south of Manfred where he was raised. He attended a nearby country school through the eighth grade and graduated from Sheyenne River Academy in Harvey in 1945.

On September 8, 1948, he was united in marriage to Darlene Fandrich at the Manfred SDA Church. They purchased a farm in Rusland Township of rural Manfred in 1950 where they made their home and farmed until moving to Harvey in 2003.

Dale was a lifelong member of the Manfred SDA Church where he served as Deacon and assistant treasurer.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Darlene; his children, Denise (Marlin) Weikum and Lynn Dale (Carol) Miller all of Colorado; grandchildren, Michelle Andrews, Jared Weikum, Nicholas Miller and Eric Miller; great-grandchild, Haley Rae Andrews; and niece, Arlys Keson.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Darlene and sisters, Lorna Miller and Geny Keson; brother, D. Roger Miller and nephew, Ardean Keson.

Funeral: Tuesday, June 4, at 2:00 P.M. at the Manfred Seventh-day Adventist Church of rural Manfred followed by burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.
