Dolores J. Suckut, 103, of Bowdon, ND passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington, ND. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Bowdon Country Seventh-day Adventist Church in rural Bowdon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the favorite charity of the donors choosing, in memory of Dolores.

Dolores June Suckut (Tebelius) was born on June 1, 1923 to George and Olivia (Patzer) Tebelius in Harvey, ND. She was joined by two brothers Hugo in 1928 and Larry in 1937.  

She attended a country school a half mile from their farm and for upper grades attended Bowdon High School and SRA.

She married Robert Suckut on March 12,1942 in Steele, ND. They made their home in the hills southwest of Bowdon for a number of years before moving to the current Randi Suckut farm where they farmed until 1968 and lived until moving to Bowdon in 1978. Four children were born to make this home complete: Iris (Dan) Giguere, Dawn (Wilbur) Kutz, Randi (Pam) Suckut, Char (Scott) Timothy.

Dolores was involved in many ways in her community and church. Through Homemakers, Birthday Club,4-H, PTA, Dorcas and helping behind the scenes, she spread her joy of life to many.

On August 22, she passed away quietly at Golden Acres Manor. She was at peace and is resting now until the trumpet sounds and she will rise to meet Jesus. We are so thankful for the great number of years that we had with her. She may not have had a college degree or accomplished what the world would think of as great, but she raised her four children to love Jesus and care for others. She was the example that we want to follow and she will be missed more than we can say.

Charlotte ( Minot); Son: Randi (Bowdon); nine grandchildren, nineteen great grand children and two great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Parents, George and Olivia Tebelius and brothers Hugo and Larry.
