Faye Lenz, 90, Fessenden, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey. A private family service will be held followed by burial at the Hillside Cemetery of Fessenden. Visitation will be held Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.

Faye Severson, daughter of August and Rebecca (Hotchkiss) Severson, was born February 20, 1925 at Fessenden. She grew up in Fessenden and attended Fessenden Public School, graduating from high school in 1943. She worked for Belcher Insurance Company for a short time and the local OPA office until 1945 when she was appointed Wells County Deputy Register of Deeds.

On April 12, 1947 Faye was married to Robert Neumiller in Fessenden. He passed away February 26, 1975. Faye worked part time in various county offices and in 1968 became Wells County Deputy Auditor. On May 27, 1983 she was married to Harvey Lenz. She continued working as Wells County Deputy Auditor until her retirement in 1987. Harvey passed away February 13, 1989.

Faye was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden, the Order of Eastern Star Home Chapter #119 of Fessenden, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Frank Proisl American Legion Post #33 Auxiliary.

Through the years Faye enjoyed raising her seven children and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed ceramic and bead work, crocheting, gardening, baking, bingo, dancing and going to the casino with her friends.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Vicki (Claude) Ripplinger of Harvey, Deb (Brad) Mitzel of Dryden, VA, Cindi (Roland) Colbert of Nogales, AZ and Joyce Larson of Fessenden; 3 sons, Tim Neumiller of Fessenden, Steven Neumiller of Denver, CO and Brian (Missy) Neumiller of Cincinnati, OH; 10 grandchildren, Nicole, Chad, Christina, Robert, Shane, Lisa, David, Rebecca, Ryan, & Kylie; 18 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella, Ava, Nora, Georgia, Morgan, Hailey, Macie, Britany, Amber, Ashlynn, Andrew, Eli, Cody, Hope, Grady, Jaiden & Ryder; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Joshua, Katie, Jayden & Khloe; 2 sisters, June Rost of Harvey and twin sister, Fern Gunderson of New Rockford; one brother, Elmer (Myra) Severson of Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert and Harvey; her parents; 4 brothers, Robert, Donald, George and Harold Severson and one sister, Blanche.
