Gary Ratzak, 69, Monticello, Minnesota formerly of Hamberg, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at his home in Monticello.  Graveside services are pending at the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fessenden, North Dakota.  Local arrangements with Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, North Dakota.

Gary was born in Harvey, ND on November 27, 1952, and lived on the family farm.  He graduated from Fessenden High School in North Dakota.  Gary attended Wahpeton Vocational/Technical College for printing.  He worked for Brown Printing in Waseca, MN, and Pennsylvania for most of his career.

He is preceded in death by parents, Harriett, and Eugene Ratzak; and sister, Karen Wieprecht.

Gary is survived by sister, Diane Zinda; brother, Wayne Ratzak; housemates of 12 years, Todd, Phil, and Mike; and longtime house staff, Jody and Jill.

Funeral service at 4:00PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel with visitation starting at 3:30PM.
