Harlan Miller, Sr., 84, Miltonvale, KS, formerly of rural Manfred, ND, passed away December 27, 2018 of natural causes at his home in Miltonvale. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Manfred Seventh-day Adventist Church of rural Manfred with burial and a time of fellowship to follow. Harlan Miller, son of William and Emelia (Wagner) Miller, was born January 24, 1934 at Manfred, ND.

On February 18, 1952 he was married to Vivian Lesmeister.

Harlan was a social, active man who was deeply involved in his church for the majority of his life.

He enjoyed spending time with family, singing, volunteering and helping others. His family and friends will remember him as a man who was always willing to help those in need and a great whistler.

He is survived by his children, Sheryl (Doug) Pellett, Bonita (Brian) Carlson, Rickie Miller, LaVonne (Don) Miller-Kautzmann, Pamela (Doug) Hoff, Tina (Brett) Rogers and Harlan (Kristha) Miller Jr.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Harlan was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; daughter, Kathy; grandson, John; and great-grandson, Tucker.
