Harold F. Bruner, 73, Drake, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Harold Bruner, son of Frank and Theresa (Keller) Bruner, was born July 16, 1942 in Drake. He grew up on the family farm north of Drake and attended Drake Public School, graduating in 1961. Harold began farming with his brothers at an early age and continued farming his entire life. He also raised Black Angus cattle most of his farming career.

On November 22, 1965, Harold was married to Diane Frey in Harvey. They made their home north of Drake where they have resided since.

Harold was a lifelong member of the St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church of Drake and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5856 of Drake. He was also a member of the Harvey Eagles Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, going to the casino, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with family and friends. Harold especially enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane; 2 sons, Brad (Beth) of Drake and Brent (Nicole) of Spiritwood; 5 grandchildren, Brittney, Colby, Allie, Reggie and Ryder; 1 sister, Eleanor Hoffer of Harvey; and 3 brothers, Richard of Albany, OR, and Dan (Rose) & Kenneth (Florence) of Drake.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral: Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 10:30 a. m. at St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church in Drake.
Visitation: Friday, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the church
Prayer Service: Friday, 7 p. m. at the church
Burial: St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Cemetery in Drake.
