Helen Lucille Neumiller, 81, West Fargo, formerly of rural Bowdon, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Helen Lucille McConnell, daughter of Murray and Mildred (Cox) McConnell, was born May 16, 1936 in Fort Morgan, CO. She married Richard Neumiller of Bowdon on June 12, 1959. Together they enjoyed raising their children on their farm near Bowdon. After retiring, they spent their time in Carrington, Mission, TX and West Fargo.

Helen is survived by her husband, Richard; her five children, Shanda (Keith) Warren of Hope, Roger (Renee) Neumiller of Bowdon, Reade (Melissa) Neumiller of Bowdon, Sheryl (Jeff) Thompson of Kansas City, MO and Shelly (Michael) Donarski of Olathe, KS; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vel (Al) Woods of Payson, AZ and Norma (Keith) Lerwick of Cheyenne, WY; and one brother, William (Phyllis) McConnell of Fort Morgan, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Mildred McConnell; and two brothers, Clifford and Lee McConnell.

Funeral: Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 A. M. at the Bowdon Auditorium in Bowdon with burial at the Wayside Cemetery in Bowdon. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.
