Jack Paulson, 54, Cocoa, FL, formerly of Hamberg and Sykeston, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at a Rockledge, FL medical center. A grave side service will be held at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Sykeston.
Jack Paulson, son of Jack and Annette (Salamonski) Paulson, was born May 30, 1960 in Colorado. He was raised and received his early education in the Denver area. In the late 1970s he moved with his family to North Dakota and lived for a short time in Hamberg and later in Sykeston.
In September of 1980 Jack enlisted in the North Dakota Army National Guard. He later served in the United States Army and Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Jack pursued a career as a funeral director and practiced through the years in Colorado, North Dakota and California. Following his retirement he moved to Florida where he had resided since.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Kristen (William) Muniz of Colorado; two sons, William of California and Dallas of Colorado; 5 grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Craig Penas) Pranke of Carrington; niece, Danell Pranke of Sykeston; nephew, Dane (Shannon) Pranke of Fargo; aunts and uncles, MaraLyn (Bob) Lill of rural Cathay and Bernice (Dan) Kirkmeyer of Brighton, Co; several cousins; and good friends, Dan Safford and Thelma Cornett of Cocoa, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
