Jean Marie Dietrich's Obituary
Jean M. Dietrich, 81, Minot, formerly of the Drake area, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Jean Marie Roder, daughter of Edward and Marie (Wiersch) Roder, was born April 12, 1937 at rural Anamoose. In the early 1940s, the family moved to a farm southwest of Drake where she was raised. She received her education at the Drake Public School.
Jean was once married to Roger Dietrich Sr. In the early 1960s, she moved to Minot where she raised her family and had lived since. Through the years, Jean worked as a waitress and cook for several restaurants in Minot.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Willoughby of Mandan, Roger Dietrich Jr. of Velva and Larry Dietrich of Minot; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Delmer Roder; and 2 sisters, Alice Frueh and Marcella Vollhardt.
Funeral: Friday, June 29 at 11:00 A. M. at the Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home in Drake.
Burial: Drake City Cemetery.
