Jerome "Jump" Douglas Stroh, 77, Hot Springs, SD, formerly of Bowdon, was struck down by bone cancer on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at the Hot Springs VA Medical Center.
Funeral services were be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Matt Lim and Pastor Ron Fanning officiating. Burial will be held Friday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Wayside Cemetery in Bowdon, ND.
Jerome was born November 9, 1937 in Bowdon, North Dakota to Henry and Leola (Werner) Stroh.
During Jerome's life he was always active in his local church. He was always willing to lend a hand where needed. He was also involved in Cornerstone Bible Institute in Hot Springs, SD. He loved going and meeting the students, and getting to know them at break time was a special part of his life.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Dianna Stroh, Hot Springs, SD; step-daughter, Marleena Keester; three grandchildren, Jamal Keester, Javon Keester, and Jakeem Keester, all of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Iris Newmiller, Java, SD, and Pam Frueh, Harvey, ND; and one brother, John D. Stroh, Minneapolis, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Geraldene Stroh.
