John Edward Campbell, age 80, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022 at Wyoming Medical Center with his family by his side.  Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Balfour Cemetery in Balfour, North Dakota. John was born May 16, 1942 to Albert and Mable Campbell in Parkin, Arkansas. He attended schools and was raised in Illinois, Arkansas, and Michigan. He worked as a professional machinist at several major companies. He was active with the Steel Worker's Union. He married Sherron Thorne, and raised together their children Lisa, Karen, Paula, and Jennifer. In 1988, He married Colleen Roe. John loved fishing, woodworking, camping, visiting and being with his family. He mastered and enjoyed making and building all things.

He is survived by his wife, of 34 years, Colleen, 4 daughters, 2 sons, Lee and Mike Roe, 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother, Jerry Campbell, and siblings, Phillip, Paul, Betty, Chuck, Debbie, Julie, and Theresa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, step-parents, sister, granddaughter, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorials in his name may be made to any Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
