Judith A. Werner, 79, Stockton, CA passed away November 14, 2021 at her home in Stockton.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, North Dakota.  Pastor Pauline Crowder will officiate and burial will be at Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon, North Dakota.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Judith (Judy) Anne Werner, born on February 12, 1942, passed on to her heavenly home at the age of 79 on November 14, 2021, in Stockton, California.

Judy was a loving daughter to her predeceased parents, Harry and Helen Werner. She is survived by her father's sister - her beloved Aunt Florence Fruhwirth of Bismarck, ND, as well as several cousins and their families in North Dakota, Illinois, Utah and California. She was also predeceased by members of her "second family", Anne and Esmond Lakin, their daughters Patricia Bowman and Donna Wolfe, and survived by their family members in California.

Judy will always be remembered for her lively stories, her wit, humor, kindness, thoughtfulness, and her continuous curiosity and interest in different cultures, politics, and world issues. She worked at several Universities on various research projects most of her adult life and had an amazing memory for all the knowledge that she accumulated over her lifetime.

Judy was beloved by so many of her family, friends, and neighbors and lovingly remembered for her thoughtfulness in sending birthday and seasonal cards along with her trademark Sees candy. Judy will be dearly missed by all of those who loved her.
