Obituary

Kenneth Rodacker, 74, rural Chaseley, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at the St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck. His funeral will be held Wednesday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bowdon Country Seventh-day Adventist Church of rural Bowdon with burial at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.

Kenneth James Rodacker, son of Roy and Hilda (Weippert) Rodacker, was born January 26, 1941 at Carrington. He grew up on the family farm south of Chaseley and attended the nearby Silver Lake Township School through the 5th grade. He then attended Bowdon Public School graduating in 1959. Kenneth began farming and ranching with his father and brother Marvin, at an early age.

On June 14, 1969 Kenneth was married the love of his life, Pamela Legacie, at Lawton, ND. They made their home on the Rodacker family farm south of Chaseley where they have resided since.

He was a lifelong member of the Bowdon Country Seventh-day Adventist Church of rural Bowdon.

Kenneth thoroughly enjoyed farming and ranching, however, his greatest love was for family and he made sure his girls always came first.

Kenneth is survived by his brother Marvin (Julie) Rodacker of rural Chaseley; his wife of 46 years, Pam; 2 daughters, Fay (Larry) Fandrich of Fessenden and Holly (Heathe) Widicker of rural Heaton; and 2 granddaughters, Hanna and Hailey Widicker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
