Kevin W. Collins, 50, Heimdal, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at his home in Heimdal. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 10, at 2:00 p.m at the Hoff Lutheran Church in Heimdal. Arrangements with Nelson Funeral Home of Fessenden.

Kevin William Collins, son of William and Diane (Hofdahl) Collins, was born December 8, 1964 at Walnut Creek, CA. Kevin spent his first years in Winnemucca, NV and later in Wilmar, MN before moving with his parents to Oxford, England at the age of seven. In 1978 they moved to Dorset, England where Kevin graduated from high school and enrolled at the University. He studied Forensic Science and Archaeolgy, graduating with a degree in Archaeology. He worked for a time at the Poole Museum in Dorset before accepting an Archaeology position in Wales, England where he was employed for a number of years. In 2003, Kevin returned to the United States and began attending Gunsmith classes at the University of Arizona while residing in Tuscon. In recent years Kevin made his home in Heimdal and was employed with Firebird Artisan Mills in Harvey.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Hofdahl-Fysh, of Heimdal; brother, Patrick Collins of West Sussex, England; and 3 step-brothers, Dominic, Mark and Carl Fysh all of England.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father.
