LaVonna Marlene Pflughaut Herr, of Crittenden, Kentucky, passed away at Boone Spring Nursing Home, in Union, Kentucky, on December 8, 2023, at the age of 83. She was the wife of Calvin Frank Herr. LaVonna was born on August 6, 1940, in Litchfield, Minnesota, to the late Arlin and Lucille Thompsen Pflughaut. She was a homemaker most of her life and a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, in Florence, Kentucky. She enjoyed watching game shows, working crossword puzzles, playing the piano and organ, canning, cooking, sewing, gardening and working in her strawberry patch.

In addition to her husband, Calvin, she is survived by: a son, Jim (Janet) Herr, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; a daughter, Marsha (Dwayane) Smith, of Crittenden; a sister, Bonita Galles, of Hutchinson, Minnesota; two grandchildren; and two cats, Boris and Baby. She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Herr and Todd Herr.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2024 at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery in Anamoose, ND.
