Loren Baltrusch, 51, Williston, formerly of rural Chaseley, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at his home in Williston of natural causes. His funeral will be held Monday, November 27, at 3:00 P. M. at the Church of God in Bowdon with burial in the Wayside cemetery of Bowdon. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M. on Monday before the service, at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Home of Fessenden.
Loren Baltrusch, son of Donald and Dorothy (Hintz) Baltrusch, was born November 19, 1966 at Harvey. He grew up on the family farm north of Chaseley and attended Bowdon Public School, graduating in 1985. He then attended NDSSS in Wahpeton and later BSC in Bismarck.
Loren worked for Bowdon Grain Elevator and at a Jamestown filling station for a short time before moving to western North Dakota where he began working in the oil fields and had most recently been employed as a consultant.
Loren was an avid Vikings football and NASCAR fan and he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was spending time with his daughter Lexi.
Loren was once married to Margo Zervis.
He is survived by his daughter Alexis 'Lexi' Baltrusch of Rapid City, SD; his mother, Dorothy Baltrusch of Harvey; two brothers, Kevin (Jen) of Plymouth, MN and Darin of Weiser, ID; nephew, Jordan; niece, Paige; former spouse, Margo and step-children, Kelly Sullivan, Rachel Sullivan, Mandy Nelson, Rollie Sullivan, Kayla Sullivan and Courtney Volker.
He was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers, Arlyn and Curtis.
