Margaret Ann Catlett, 94, of Anamoose, ND went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at SMP St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey, ND.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Drake, ND: P.O. Box 316 Drake, ND 58736.

Margaret was born March 10, 1931, daughter of the late Rev. Charles E. Subock Jr. and Margaret Chambers Subock in Lower Marlboro, MD.  As a resident of Maryland, Margaret was a graduate of Elkridge High School, Towson State University, and did graduate work at the University of Maryland, Frostburg State University, as well as Michigan State University and Northern Arizona University.  She taught the 4th grade in Williamsport, MD for 18 years and 11 years in Bullhead City, AZ, where she worked with the gifted children in grades 1-6, and gifted remedial 7th and 8th grades in Language Arts.  In 1986, Margaret was awarded the Bullhead City Elementary School District Teacher of the Year.  Margaret retired in 1993.

Margaret loved working with lapidary and was a talented silversmith who received as Associate of Arts Degree in Jewelry from Mohave Community College in Bullhead City, AZ, and substituted for her silversmith teacher.

Margaret was an active past member of the Silvery Colorado River Rock Club, where she went on many field trips gathering materials for lapidary work.  She also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, crafts and music playing the organ and piano.  Margaret was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Drake, ND.

Margaret is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruby Subock; nieces, Debbie (David) Bailey, Cheryl (Steve) Bowles, Karen (Bryan) Noble; great niece, Amanda (Brian) Sachett; great nephews, Adam Sachett, David (Jessie) Bowles and Ryan Bowles; great-great-nephews, Edi and Xander Bowles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Charles and Margaret Subock; brothers, Thomas and Richard Subock; and longtime friend, Ruth "Lib" Ardinger.
