Margaret K. "Marge" Anderson, 75, Fessenden, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. Alexius Health-Carrington.  Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:30 AM at First Lutheran Church, Fessenden, ND, with Pastor Shirley Teske officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Michigan Cemetery, Michigan, ND.  Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM, Friday at the Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden and one hour prior to services at the church.

Margaret K. Bischkopf was born November 24, 1945 in Oechebuttel, Germany, the daughter of Walter and Ursula (Liemant) Bischkopf.  They moved to the United States when Marge was in the 1 ^st Grade and attended school in Emrick.  The family later moved to Chaseley and later to Harvey.  Marge spent the last two years of high school in Fessenden, graduating in 1963.  She then attended Minot State College for three years.  She married Lowell Anderson on June 19, 1966 in Fessenden where they made their home.  They later moved to Ellendale and Oakes before retiring to Fessenden.

Marge was a very active member of First Lutheran Church in Fessenden.  She also served on the Wells County Fair Board, the Wells County Museum Board, and was very active in helping at the Thrift Store in Fessenden.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and was an avid quilter.  She was always willing to help out where she could.

Marge is survived by her husband, Lowell, Fessenden, ND; sons, Michael (Patricia) Anderson, Mendota Heights, MN; and Kevin (Kimberly) Anderson, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Erik, Olivia, and Kaylen, and great-grandchildren, Finlee and Riley, and sister Hildegard and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wells County Museum, Wells County Fair, and the Kedish House in Ellendale, ND.
