Randy Johnson, 95, of Harvey, ND and formerly of Anamoose, ND, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at St. Aloisius Long Term Care in Harvey.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Victory Baptist Church in Harvey with Pastor Paul Dyck officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at Bethania Norsk Cemetery near Karlsruhe, ND.

Randy was born on November 19, 1928 in Coleharbor, ND.  She was the daughter of Jacob and Martha (Melhoff) Mittleider.  Randy attended school in Coleharbor until the second grade, then country school until the seventh grade.  She grew up in Garrison, ND, graduating from Garrison High School with the class of 1947.  Randy moved home after school and the family relocated to the Bergen, ND area.  Randy was united in marriage to Harry Johnson on February 14, 1950 in Minot, ND.

The couple lived in various places throughout their marriage, and moved to Anamoose, ND in 1965.  They lived there until their later years, when they moved to Harvey, ND and Randy entered the St. Aloisius Long Term Care in 2021.

Randy is survived by her daughter, Tanya Johnson of Anamoose, ND; sons, Larry (Bea) Johnson of Martin, ND and Todd Johnson of Anamoose, ND; 5 grandchildren, Duane Johnson, Darin Johnson, Eric Johnson, Kristen Glaser and Brianne (Johnson) Sattler; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Arlo Mittleider; sister, Evangeline Stuber.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Harry Johnson; sons, Michael and Guy; parents, Jacob and Martha Mittleider; brothers, Arvid and Alvin Mittleider; sisters, Lillian West, Eleanor Meyer, Bernice Steinwand and Joan Degenstein.
