Samantha Jo Maxwell, 21, Fessenden, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 near Chaseley, ND. Her funeral will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fessenden-Bowdon School Gymnasium with burial at the Hillside Cemetery of Fessenden. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.

Samantha Jo Maxwell, daughter of Danny 'Boone' and Tracey (Kahler) Maxwell, was born August 7, 1993 at Carrington, ND. She grew up on the family farm east of Fessenden where she began helping her father with the farming and cattle operation at an early age. She attended Fessenden-Bowdon Public School where she was active in volleyball, basketball and track. Following her graduation from high school in 2011, she enrolled at Valley City State College where she continued to play volleyball. She later attended Bismarck State College where she studied Agronomy.

Samantha was presently employed with Klocke Enterprises as a sales associate, dealing Pioneer seed. She also worked part time at Main Street Café in Fessenden.

Samantha is survived by her daughter, Grace Maxwell Wolff; her parents, Danny 'Boone' and Tracey Maxwell of rural Fessenden; her brother, Lucas Maxwell of Bismarck; her maternal grandmother, Terry Perkins of Bismarck; her paternal grandmother, JoAnn Maxwell of Bismarck; her aunt and uncles; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers and cousin, Carlie.
