Stanley Ray Trenary, 67, of Fessenden, ND passed away Thursday evening, June 22, 2023 in Bismarck, ND, surrounded by his loved ones.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Fessenden Country Club with Pastor Shirley Teske officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Everyone is welcome to join the family for food and refreshments following the celebration.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fessenden Country Club: P.O. Stan Trenary was born on August 31, 1955 in LaMoure, North Dakota to Richard and Rosella (Hansen) Trenary. He attended LaMoure elementary school and later graduated from LaMoure High School in 1973. After graduation he moved around with his brother doing construction, where he met and married Kari.

Stan and Kari lived in LaMoure where they gave birth to a little girl named Sara. They later moved to Fessenden where Stan started working for the Fessenden Co-Op. They later had two more children; a daughter Tara and a son Tiler. They later divorced.

Stan was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden. He worked for the Fessenden Co-Op for 39 ¾ years at which time he retired. Over the years he also worked part time for the Fessenden Oriole Booster Club where he dealt blackjack and managed tickets. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, grabbing a beer and playing a game of bingo over in Selz, out golfing, working on cars, visiting with friends or spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Stan is survived by his daughter, Tara (Donny) Lawson, Roseville, MN; his son, Tiler Trenary, Fessenden, ND; 5 grandchildren, Cayden, Dontayvin, Dontarius, Dontarian, and Dontavius; 7 sisters and 1 brother, Aris Miears, Bemidji, MN, Charlie (Darlene) Trenary, Castlewood, SD, Audrey (Wayne) Mikkelson, Langdon, ND, Mary (Ken) Clark, Midwest City, OK, Marty Black, Bismarck, ND,  Linda Schuler, Bismarck, ND, Rosalie Hankel, Brandon, SD and Kim Raper, McAlester, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rosella (Hansen) Trenary; infant daughter, Sara Trenary; brother, James Trenary ; sisters, Leora Anderson and Lois Church.

He was loved by many and will be deeply missed!
