Tim Lee Crissman, 52, rural Balfour, formerly of Kittaning, PA,passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at his home near Balfour. A private family service will be held followed by committal in Pennsylvania. Arrangements with Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home of Drake.
Timmy Lee Crissman, son of William and Vivian Crissman , was born May 27, 1962 at Kittanning, PA He was raised and educated on a farm near Dayton, PA. Tim farmed most of his life and also salvaged and sold scrap metal for several years. He moved to North Dakota in 2009 with his companion Michele Silvis and step-son Shane.
Tim loved collecting toy tractors and working on tractors.
He is survived by his companion, Michele Silvis and step-son, Shane of rural Balfour; two sons, William Crissman III and Timothy (Kayla) Dixon; one daughter, Sarah Houser; grandchildren, Seth, Damon, Timothy, Marissa and Christopher; and his mother, Vivian Wile, all of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are sisters, Louise France, Shirley Renton, Teresa Crissman, Cindy Crissman and Pauline Crissman; and brothers, Bud and David Crissman.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, William Crissman Jr.; brothers, Charlie, Art and George Crissman; and sister, Ruby Nelson.
