Timothy Robert Neumiller, son of Robert and Faye (Severson) Neumiller was born February 14, 1950 at Harvey. He grew up in Fessenden and attended Fessenden Public School, graduating in 1968.
On May 20, 1969, Tim entered the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War. Tim was recruited as an aircraft maintenance specialist in the newly formed "E" Flight which consisted of 3 specially disguised and prepared C-130 planes which were used for top secret clandestine missions often flown throughout Indochina. In addition to transporting much needed supplies into enemy territory, in 1970 one of these C-130s was chosen to fly Bob Hope throughout Viet Nam for his Operation Holly show.
Following his honorable discharge on May 18, 1973, Tim returned to Fessenden and began working for Minot Paving Company. He later worked for several automotive and implement dealers and Cenex before accepting a position with Wells County as a mechanic, welder and equipment operator.
Tim was once married to Carol Aronson.
Tim enjoyed building and repairing things whether he was working with wood or metal. He was an excellent mechanic who was constantly working on different cars and engines. His 1926 Model T Coupe was his pride and joy. He and his good friend Kelly Mason, along with their sons Bob and Matt, built cars which they enjoyed entering in drag racing competition for a number of years.
He is survived by his children, Christina (Ryan) Clark and Robert (Anika) Neumiller of Minot; his 3 granddaughters, Morgan, Hailey and Macie Clark who he was so very proud of; his siblings, Vicki Ripplinger of Harvey, Debbie (Brad) Mitzel of Dryden, VA, Cindi (Roland) Colbert of Nogales, AZ, Steven Neumiller of Denver, CO, Joyce Larson of Fessenden and Brian (Missy) Neumiller of Cincinnati, OH; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
