Walter Rauw Jr.'s Obituary
Walter Rauw, 74, Glen Ullin, ND, formerly of the Drake and Anamoose area, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Sanford Health in Bismarck. A grave side service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Drake at a later date. Arrangements with Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home of Drake.
Walter Rauw, son of Walter and Nellie (Hanenberg) Rauw, was born April 2, 1939 on his parents farm northwest of Anamoose where he grew up and attended a nearby country school. Walter remained in the Anamoose area until the mid 1980s when he moved to Bismarck. In recent years he had resided at the Marian Manor care center in Glen Ullin.
Walter is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
