Warren G. Hart, 83, Chaseley, ND, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Golden Acres Manor nursing home in Carrington
Warren Hart, son of Edward and Bertha (Barchus) Hart, was born August 17, 1931 on the Hart family farm south of Chaseley where he was raised and attended a nearby country school. As a young man he began farming with his father, later taking over the farming operation.
On June 3, 1954, Warren married the love of his life, Betty Rose Herman. They made their home on the Hart family farm where he farmed and ranched until he suffered permanent injuries in a vehicle accident on April 26, 1986. He remained at home with his beloved wife for 23 years and thereafter at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington until he went to his heavenly home in the sky.
Warren attended the United Methodist Church of Chaseley. He was a member of the Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge #124 of Fessenden and was very active in community affairs. He served on the Bowdon School Board from 1970 to 1982. Other committees he served on were, ND Sunflower Council, Northern Crops Institute, Tarentaise Assn. and Mid-Dak Tarentaise.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; 4 daughters, Cindy (James) Russell of Schofield, WI, Brenda (Clyde) Reimche of Martin, Kristi (Arvid) Rader of Mandan and Melanie (Jeff) Fladland of Fargo; one son, Corey (LeAnn) Hart of Chaseley; 14 grandchildren; John (Emily) Russell, Aaron Russell, Amanda (Jeff) Schimke, Eric (Kacie) Reimche, Nicole (Mike) Ragan, Ryan (Amy) Rader, Michelle (Monte) Gangl, Katie, Kyle, Kayla & Kurt Hart, Nicholas, Shawn & Brandi Fladland; 9 great-grandchildren; Jordan & Claire Russell, Sierra Russell, Madison & Rebeka Schimke, Cayden & Maryn Reimche, Joey Rader & Serenity Rants; one brother, Garry Hart of Newport News, VA; and 4 sisters, LaVern (Adam) Malinski of Carrington, Arliss Koehler of Fargo, Jean King of West Palm Beach, FL, and Kay (Tom) Brackin of Sacramento, CA.
Warren was preceded in death by his son, Curtis; his parents, Edward & Bertha; 4 brothers, Orval, Myron, Carrol and Clayton; and 4 sisters, Joanne Heintz, Fern Flanders, Lois Houghton and Gladys Daniels.
Funeral: Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bowdon Lutheran Church in Bowdon
Burial: Chaseley Cemetery in Chaseley.
Visitation: Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden with a Family Service following at 8:00 p.m..
