Wesley Pepple, 82, rural Kief, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Trinity Medical Center in Minot.

Wesley Ray Pepple, son of Ruben and Rose (Martin) Pepple, was born April 8, 1937 in Anamoose. He was raised and educated in the Kief area and began farming with his father at an early age.

On June 15, 1958, Wesley was united in marriage to Alice Haux in McClusky. They made their home on the Pepple farm where he lived his entire life. Alice passed away on August 26, 2005. Farming was Wesley's passion and he continued to farm as long as he was able.  But more than anything, Wesley loved and cherished his wife, children and grandchildren.

Is survived by his children, Wesley (Kathy) Pepple of Williston and Cindy (Bill) Bechtold of Velva; grandsons, Aaron and Nathan Pepple; special great grandson, Bristol; and his faithful dog, Buddy.

Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents; and son-in-law, Gregory Hunter.

Funeral: Thursday, June 27, at11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Drake.

Visitation: Wednesday, from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home in Drake.

Burial: Kief Cemetery in Kief, ND.
