Zofia Pepple, 1, daughter of Jason and Chantelle Pepple of New Town, ND, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Minot, ND. Her funeral will be held Saturday, September 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden with burial in the Hillside Cemetery of Fessenden. Visitation will be Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden.

Zofia Kristal Pepple was born October 8, 2012 at Fargo, ND to Jason and Chantelle (Newick) Pepple. They lived in Fargo until September of 2013 when they moved to New Town. Zofia was the light in her parents' world that filled their lives with life and joy. Zofia always had a smile on her face no matter what was going on and even her temper tantrums were cute. She loved watching Winnie-the-Pooh, drinking apple juice, and helping with her little sister by bringing her nook or bottle to her whenever Mya would fuss. She loved to help her Mom with the laundry and the baking of cookies as she was beginning to learn how to count she would help count out the ingredients. She loved to help her Daddy with the dishes often making more of a mess, but trying to help just the same. She absolutely had a love of water no matter if it was taking a bath, going in the hot tub with her parents, or swimming at her paternal grandparents' lake cabin. Zofia always had a love for reading and one of her favorite books was 'Spot Goes to the Library'. She loved it so much she would have us read it at least four times in a row, to the point that Mommy would read it in different accents every time to spice up the story and make it a little more funny and interesting. She was a little girl that was always on the move and that wanted to go anywhere her parents went.
She will always be that whisper on the wind that we thought we quietly heard, that twitch in our hand while we go for a walk. Zofia will never be truly gone, she will always be in our hearts and minds forever...

Zofia is survived by her parents and her sister, Mya Marie of New Town; her maternal grandparents, Danny & Kristal Newick of Cathay, ND; her paternal grandparents, Jeff & Julie Pepple of Fessenden and Janell and Roger Krueger of Cando; her maternal great-grandmother, Grace Newick of Durham, Maine; her paternal great-grandparents, Jon & Adeline Krapu of Harvey and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
